I really wanted this vet to work out, so I overlooked several concerns after my initial visit. Unfortunately, my second visit confirmed that I would not be returning.
If you’re looking for quality care, attention to detail, clear communication, and the confidence that your pet is genuinely in good hands, I would recommend looking elsewhere. My experience raised several concerns that, taken together, made it difficult to trust this clinic.
1. A veterinarian should actually be available for a veterinary appointment.
If the veterinarian is unexpectedly unavailable, patients should be notified before arriving and given the option to reschedule. Instead, I arrived for my appointment and was seen by a vet tech who was unable to answer several of my questions. I would have gladly rescheduled rather than spend the time and money on an appointment where I couldn’t actually speak with a veterinarian.
2. Reviewing a patient’s medical record should be a basic part of providing care.
At an appointment, I should not have to bring the staff up to speed on my pet’s history, previously recommended treatments, or emails I have already exchanged with the clinic. I found myself repeatedly explaining information that should have been readily available in the record. That lack of preparation is especially concerning when medical decisions are involved.
3. Communication and follow-through were consistently lacking.
There seem to be plenty of staff members at this clinic, yet basic communication repeatedly fell through the cracks. Sending receipts after appointments, proactively letting a client know that a medication is unavailable, keeping the care team informed, and following up when a client clearly leaves dissatisfied are not unreasonable expectations. They are basic components of running a veterinary practice.
Any one of these issues might have been something I could overlook. Experiencing them together, across multiple visits, felt less like an isolated mistake and more like a pattern.
Ultimately, I need to be able to trust that the people caring for my pet actually care about her health and wellbeing.

We have been bringing our dog here for six years, and unfortunately our experience has steadily declined over this time. One issue was the lack of continuity in care. Nearly every visit was with a different veterinarian who was unfamiliar with my dog's medical history and didn’t seem to have reviewed it before the appointment. Appointments consistently ran well over an hour, even for relatively routine visits. Another ongoing frustration was getting refills for a medication that my dog had already been prescribed. Even for long-term medications used to manage established conditions, getting a refill without scheduling another exam was impossible. Like many other reviewers, we felt that this was all because of money. Every visit seemed to turn into additional tests, treatments, or more expensive medications. We were often presented with estimates showing different levels of care and asked to decide which recommendations we could afford to decline. I understand that vets should discuss all available options, but over time it felt like the focus shifted from providing practical, individualized care to maximizing the amount spent at each visit. I don't mind paying for excellent vet care, but that was not the case.
Finally, like many other reviewers, the office manager was another reason we chose to leave. We consistently found her to be unkind and dismissive, and we also witnessed hers speaking rudely to other clients. Customer service matters, especially when people are already stressed or worried about their pets. We’ve called many times and emailed. The doctor never called us back and the office didn’t email us back. This office does not care about retaining their patients, so we found a new vet.

The doctors are constantly changing, wait times have dramatically gone up in recent years. Everytime you go they push a large treatment and bill and the manager Cindy is nasty both on the phone and in person. This place has gone downhill fast.
Last week I showed up to pick up medication, they had a sign up saying they’d be gone for an hour (which was not relayed on the phone when I said I would be coming at that time). The front door was wide open, I was able to walk in yet no one was there. Seems unsafe for those animals in the building.

My family is spending the summer in California, and almost immediately upon arriving, my dog injured herself. I was able to get an appt quickly and easily online. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Wong was thorough in explaining what would be done to diagnose my dog and I was provided with an estimate before treatment. I'm so grateful for their compassionate care!
