My snoppy first time here. Took him to the groomer to cut his nails. My dog is antisocial but Maura was a sweet and and foremost patient with my dog. Seeing how she went beyond me me feel comfort and ease. I am happy and grateful. I will definitely be back and refer family and friends here. Thank you so much we are happy customers. Maura deserves to be nominated good employee and perhaps a raise.

Can’t stop thinking about the neglected invertebrates who were killed because staff weren’t trained to lock them away. Living things treated like toys. The feelings I get from this place is just so filthy and stained with suffering.

Definitely won’t be coming back to this location. I tried to call them during (what I would think would be none busy hours) and ask a representative where the Larvae were. She said I would need to go to the front. As I got to the check out I was told that I was able to look at them but that the larvae, knowing that would be nice. As I looked my item I was looking for was not there. For something commonly bought and looked for I would hope staff would know. I wasted 30m and my poor bearded dragon going to be angry with me at night. Please count numbers correctly along with train staff how use a sku checker correctly, when it says in stock by a large amount and is not when you get to store to find out is not is disappointing

Poor fish keeping, poor small animal care. I’ve lost pets because of them purely from the shock of being moved to somewhere more suitable, and possibly even due to diseases unaccounted for within their environments. Post Purchase/Petstore Syndrome is rampant at this place. Feedback is clearly not important to you, you do not value customer feedback. You do not provide adequate care guidelines. The health and wellness of pets, specifically fish and small hermit crabs, is never your priority. I will not be contacting any numbers only to face more corporate negligence. May action continue to be taken upon the store and the entire corporation. ETA: You are not grateful for my concern. You took away the body of my sweet animal instead of letting me bury his body in my potted plant even after you literally saw his body and provided me a refund. Once again, may action continue to be taken upon the store and the entire corporation. Something underreported but absolutely an issue, is that due to the treatment and conditions of the fishes and small animals, it is critically dangerous to introduce them to other small animals you own. The fishes especially must be quarantined and thoroughly medicated before being introduced or else you risk killing everyone else in your tank. It is that severe. Both my friend and I have lost fish we cared about due to this type of malpractice. More: I highly suspect Petco sources their hermit crabs from Carolina Biological Supply, who also mistreats their herms, plucks them from the wild, and sell through Amazon too. They name their hermit crabs similar things; “small” and “fancy” no care for vital species differentiation. Petco’s hermit crab enclosures have so many crammed crabs and limbs lost, signs of severe stress. This is why they die when they move somewhere better and the shock takes them.
