  Rude and unfriendly cashier. Some people should not be front facing employees. Teddie snappily barked orders at me, the customer, unpleasant interaction.

  I've had multiple interactions with Teddi at Petco, and unfortunately, each experience has left me with the same impression. She consistently comes across as unfriendly and unwelcoming, especially when working at the register. There is rarely a smile, a friendly greeting, or even the basic warmth you would expect when checking out at a store. 1 completely understand that everyone has difficult days, and working in retail and dealing with the public can certainly be challenging. However, when the same attitude is noticeable on multiple visits, it becomes difficult to overlook. Whenever I have encountered Teddi, she genuinely seems unhappy to be working the register or inconvenienced by having to assist customers. Her demeanor can make what should be a simple checkout experience feel uncomfortable and unpleasant. I don't expect employees to be overly cheerful or put on a performance for customers, but basic friendliness, courtesy, and acknowledgment go a long way. A simple hello, a smile, or a pleasant tone can completely change a customer's experience. Unfortunately, that has consistently been missing during my interactions with her.
