  I can’t believe the reviews here!! I had nothing but the best experience let’s talk about it. I came in with a list of concerns for my sweet pup. I didn't have an appointment with them. I basically just showed up and hoped for the best. And oh boy was it!! Mariah who was up at the front was kind when she spoke, listened to everything I said. Had me see basically right away I only had to wait a little while in the lobby which is really good considering I wasn’t on their books. Than I saw the doctor, Dr. McCalester DMV. When I was in the room with her she was kind, thoughtful, and we talked about next steps for him, addressed every health concern I had with my boy even though I was a new client and she had never met him before. She recommended X-ray but I couldn’t do them today, but I will be back to get them. The medication I could get for him was so affordable, and I was worried it wouldn’t be. It’s true I came for the client first visit free, but now I’m a member and I’m trying to do the Petco perks thing. (The paid one, so all his next visits are covered) Check it out! Check them out, this is a veterinarian that CARES about animals. The front desk lady was just 10/10, the DVM was amazing!! Just everything about this was wonderful. They are the best in San Diego if not the whole state. I will be back for such amazing care, a good veterinarian can be tricky to find! Take your pets here!!

  My little dog was not feeling well and I brought her in last minute. Everyone was so kind and explained everything so thoroughly.

  Amazing doctor, horrible front staff. They are not properly trained to deal with customer concerns. I have been coming here for over a year and I've consistently had issues with the front desk not being aware of the medication my dog takes. If it wasn't for the doctor I would never give this place any more of my money.
