Not enough cashiers, waited in line for 20 minutes. Cashier kept calling for backup but it took about 17 minutes for someone to help.

Discount ALL aqua plants that have fungus growing on em...it looks awful with them like that....and still at full price... or give one free with the purchase of one..."not two".... and give that plant a chance to get saved.... respectfully sharing 🙂

i use to take my dog to this location to get groomed until they got rid of everyone and now there’s this “Bree” girl that keeps canceling my dogs appointments cause she supposedly “overbooked” like if you’re overbooked then don’t put appointments available online. She treated my puppy so badly and she’s very unprofessional. this petco grooming salon has to do better with their staff or get rid of her. when i asked to speak to her manger she said that someone was going to call me when she could just transfer me to the managers phone. petco do better with you’re staff

This is to all petcos. To call Petco’s husbandry practices negligent is a gross understatement; the corporation is actively facilitating animal abuse through willful incompetence. The treatment of invertebrates and amphibians, specifically jumping spiders, tarantulas, hermit crabs, and Pac-Man frogs, is nothing short of horrific. These delicate, living creatures are treated as disposable inventory, placed in unsecured, unlocked plastic deli cups on open shelves by the registers which only now do they realize their animals should be kept locked up or in the back. Because Petco refuses to invest in basic, locked glass cabinetry, the animals left out entirely accessible to the public, including unsupervised children and reckless shoppers. They leave them out presumably for the novelty of an up close observation of invertebrate and amphibians in order to urge an impulse buy. The inevitable result, which store management is fully aware of, is that these fragile animals are routinely grabbed, shaken, dropped, and killed inside their tiny containers. This is not an accident; it is a calculated corporate gamble. It costs pennies to secure a display case. By choosing not to, Petco has explicitly decided that the lives of these animals are worth less than the cost of a padlock. You are forcing these creatures to endure terrifying, agonizing deaths simply because they are small and can be profited off of. A pet store’s primary obligation is the safety of the living beings in its care. By leaving fragile animals on open shelves to be crushed and shaken to death, unmonitored for sickness. Petco has proven it is ethically bankrupt. Petco didn’t even offer a check up of the animal before purchase! They were just going to let any random customer buy their animal presuming their animal was even alive! If you cannot provide basic, life-saving security for invertebrates and amphibians, you have absolutely no business selling them. Disgusting, abhorrent, and completely inexcusable.
