  I went to adopt a kitten there and the woman was very rude and she said that the kitten I wanted was sick because I couldn't get 2 kittens she turned me down

  I don’t know how I can thank all the staff at this establishment for the care they provided for my pet dog Lefty he’s a little dachshund but I know he’s a handful , While on our vacation I wondered how well he would adjust to this new environment but just yesterday 5-30-26 When we went to pick him up he looked content to my surprise and I felt so relieved to see him in good spirits they even provided us a short story of his stay. It looked like he had the VIP treatment but I wanted to say Kudos to all the personnel in the front desk and all employees behind the scenes that made Lefty feel at home I recommend this location to anyone looking to board there love ones.JP

  We visited this location to look at Aquarium and stands. There was not any combo sets and no stands. They had several plain jane glass Aquarium tanks but nothing special. We spent sometime looking around thinking we miss something but no luck. Employees greeted us at the door but did not offer any assistance. They were too busy talking amongst themselves. Not impressed with store size, stock or Employees.

  Petco in La Habra has friendly staff and the store itself is overall clean and well-organized. Unfortunately, the fish department is a big letdown and is the reason this location feels like a 2-3 star store for me. The fish tanks are noticeably dirty, and the last four times I’ve bought fish here, almost all of them came home with ich (white spot disease). Many didn’t make it, even with treatment. It’s been consistently disappointing. If you do decide to get fish from this Petco, you’ll definitely need a proper quarantine tank and be ready to treat for ich. The freshwater fish selection is decent in variety, but the quality and tank conditions just aren’t there right now. Friendly staff and clean store can’t make up for sick fish. I’d recommend going elsewhere if you’re looking for healthy aquarium fish in the La Habra area.
