  Be ready for surprise charges and fees when you're getting a dental cleaning for your pet. They may give you an initial quote that appears reasonable and includes possible extraction costs, but be prepared for additional charges that were never clearly discussed beforehand. In my case, I was charged an extra $70 for surgical materials, $65 for post-procedure X-rays, and $70 for 15 additional minutes of anesthesia. It felt like the initial quote was kept lower to encourage me to move forward with the procedure. Once the work had already started and backing out was no longer an option, additional services and fees were added to the bill. The entire process felt more focused on upselling than on providing a clear and transparent estimate upfront. My advice is to ask for a detailed written breakdown of every possible charge before authorizing treatment and to get clarification on which fees are mandatory versus optional. Otherwise, you may end up paying significantly more than the original quote. That said, I'd also like to mention that Dr. Hamid is a very caring veterinarian. He takes the time to explain issues with your pet, answers questions thoroughly, and provides thoughtful solutions. My concerns are with the billing and pricing transparency, not with the quality of care provided by Dr. Hamid.

  I had a very bad experience at Pecto Vet today. They had an offer for first-time customers where the visit is supposed to be free. My dog doesn’t have the rabies vaccine yet, and when I arrived, they told me my appointment might not be accepted because of that. However, they still let me go in and see the doctor, and everything seemed fine at first. After I finished, a nurse came and told me that my dog must get the rabies vaccine at their clinic, saying it’s not allowed to skip it. I told her I preferred to do it at another clinic, but she refused and insisted it had to be done there. Her attitude was extremely rude. She kept saying things like “that’s your problem if you don’t understand what we’re saying.” In the end, they forced me to pay for the vaccine even though I didn’t want to do it there. Overall, their behavior and customer service were very poor, and I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

  Today was our first visit; the reason for coming was that our cat was coughing and having trouble breathing. At check-in, the receptionist told us that our cat hadn’t been vaccinated against rabies and that the doctor wouldn’t be able to examine her. I told her that the cat was sick, and when she’s sick, I don’t want to give her any vaccines because it could make things worse, After that, she said the doctor would examine her and tell us if she could get the vaccine. We agreed. The doctor came and said that according to the rules, he couldn’t examine the cat if she didn’t have the vaccine. The cat was stressed out, we wasted our time, and we couldn’t even find out what was wrong with our cat. I don’t recommend this clinik!

  Dr Rezaei is so kind and takes so much time to clearly explain his diagnosis and care plan. Not only did my dog quickly heal from Dr Rezaei’s personal hands-on care but I have much more understanding and wisdom in caring for my pet after seeing him! Berry at the front desk is also an absolute asset to this office - she’s cheerful and so capable!
