This store is seriously under staffed. They are full of stuff that people don’t buy for years. I asked at least three employees for something that I can see on their website and they all told me they don’t work here. This is the worst pet store I have ever seen in the world!!!

Extremely poor treatment of birds. These birds have been at this Petco for what seems like over a year. On a recent visit, the birds had barely any water, dirty food bowls, no toys or enrichment, no lights, and a rusty, dirty cage that looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in over a week. The birds were hovering in the back scared to anyone who walked by. Management- DO SOMETHING about this! These birds are clearly not happy, and as a retail store your goal is to increase revenue. How do you expect to sell birds looking and living like this? You’re not. For the sake of just being a decent human, don’t treat any pet like this.

Terrible experience at this location. I got in line to check out, and there was one gentleman in front of me. The cashier left with this gentleman to go help him find something. While she was gone assisting this man, a woman walked up and went straight to the checkout counter. I thought she was just waiting for the cashier to come back to ask a question. WRONG. She stood there with the intention of cutting in front of me. When the cashier returned, I figured she would let the woman know that I was next in line. WRONG again. She proceeded to start ringing up this woman's items, so I shouted out that I had been standing there waiting the entire time. Rather than apologize to me for apparently not seeing me standing there, (you would have to be blind not to see me standing right there), the cashier simply looked at me and said, "Oh." Seriously????? No apology whatsoever for allowing the woman to cut in front of me. Just "oh." This employee is in need of some serious training in customer service because this is unacceptable. I will never shop at this location again.

We went to a groomer named Mary , and the experience was disappointing from the start. When she came out to meet us, she didn’t even say hello, kept rubbing her face with her hands, and came across as very unfriendly. I actually considered canceling the appointment right then, but unfortunately I didn’t—and later regretted that decision. The dog was groomed using the clipper guard length I requested, but when it came to the genital area, it seemed as though the groomer forgot she was working with a living animal, not just cutting hair. So much fur was removed that my dog immediately began trying to lick his testicles. I prevented him from doing so, but within about an hour he developed severe irritation, and his testicles became extremely swollen. My dog weighs only 10 pounds, so this level of swelling was very alarming. The situation became serious enough that within 24 hours we had to take him to the veterinarian. The veterinary treatment ended up costing significantly more than the grooming appointment itself. The money is not even the main issue. What matters most is that my dog has had to spend a week wearing a cone and receiving antibiotic treatment on the irritated skin around his testicles because of what happened after the grooming.
For that reason, I cannot recommend this groomer.
I would also like to make a sincere request to all groomers: please remember that you work with living creatures. Be professional, be careful, and do not cause unnecessary pain, discomfort, or stress to these small animals that depend on us to keep them safe.
