  I’ve been bringing my pets to this Petco for grooming services for years. While I always felt the customer service in the grooming department could have been better, it was never bad enough for me to complain — until now. Ever since the Petco on Tampa in Northridge closed, the grooming service at the Granada Hills location has noticeably declined. Since then, my appointments have been canceled multiple times. The first cancellation was explained as being due to the Tampa location closing and them being overwhelmed with bookings. I tried to be understanding. The second time, I was told the groomer had called out and they were short-staffed, so my appointment had to be canceled again. The final straw was when I arrived for my scheduled appointment and was told I wasn’t even on the schedule — despite the appointment being made directly by one of their staff members, It had also been verbally confirmed multiple times beforehand. After making the trip and being turned away, I understandably expressed my frustration. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of apology or accountability. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, I was told my dogs were no longer welcome in the store. After years of being a loyal customer, the entire experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
