  Customer service is slow even during the week and the store is always dirty especially from dog pee on the floor or carpet when you come in.

  I love the Glendale location, it always has everything I need. The employees are nice and helpful and know what they’re talking about. I have 3 pets and have them signed up with vetco premium, the rewards I get back make all well worth it.

  UPDATE: Petco replied. I'll repeat...the dog is three weeks older than his last grooming there. Apparently some groomers in the store aren't afraid of treating older dogs and some are. The whole thing is ridiculous as the dog owner has to sign a release before any grooming. Petco: Get your groomers on the same page. Do something about the woman who is mentioned in so many of these reviews. EVERYONE ELSE: SCROLL THE REVIEWS OF THEIR GROOMING DEPT. Take your senior pets elsewhere. You can't trust Petco. Been taking my dog to this location for at least a year. He's had a heart murmur this whole time. In fact, he had this murmur when he was groomed there three weeks ago. Now suddenly they refuse to groom him bc of this murmur. The same murmur he had three weeks ago when they HAPPILY groomed him. And the woman who called couldn't have been ruder about it. Petco, you've lost all my business. I won't even buy cat litter at a company that discriminates against older dogs.

  Three Cheers for Melissa! Pet Grooming I took my mom’s little dog here for a serious grooming. My mom is older and hadn’t kept up with grooming, and her pup was definitely in need. Melissa not only did an expert job caring for and tending to her dog, but she very sensitively listened to my concerns about my mom’s particular preferences, and even called me during the grooming to update me and make sure it was okay to proceed. She explained everything really well and it was clear she had her dog’s best interest in mind while also trying to please my mom. I could not have been more impressed.
