  Great location and easy to find parking. One of the cashiers was aggravated but most people working were really helpful. 👍💯

  Avoid this Petco at all costs!! Took my puppy in cause he had been acting off, was pooping blood and had a fever. They tested him for parvo which came back negative and sent us home with all sorts of medication such as vitamins and hydration gels. Not even a week later he started developing a lump near his groin which quickly became inflamed and hard to the touch. We took him in again and the Dr checked him out and told us that to her knowledge it looked like a hernia but they needed to do X-rays to confirm. They did his testing and told us they would have the results in a 1-2 days, there was no sense of urgency. The following day my puppy had deteriorated drastically. The once playful and energetic pup had turned into a calm and sleepy one. I noticed his ball near his groin was becoming red/purple so I called petco to get their advise on what to do and they suggested I now take him to an emergency clinic. Once I arrived to the clinic I told them petco said he could have a possible hernia and they had done an xray. The clinic had reached out to petco so they could send the results in since I had never received them and they never got back to us. The clinic was thinking of doing an ultrasound on him so they can get a picture of what was going on, but before they were able to do anything his ball had burst and there was pus. The Dr at the clinic said we could go through with surgery but his chance of survival was now less than 40% and it was going to cost thousands. We ended up having to put our puppy down all due to the malpractice at petco.

  This location is a joke. They handle animals as a service in the grooming department. When booking the appointment, I was told to bring updated vaccination records in which I did. I then get told that they needed a document that states the next due date to ensure it is up to date. I had brought the same document when I first brough my dog here. So why is this time different. There was nothing indicating I needed to bring paperwork that showed the due date. What could have been a simple process as Jessica stating let me call the vet's office to confirm, turned into a huge blown out argument. It wasn't until later after she had gone off the handle yelling at us that she said she would call. This is when the manager got involved and heard Jessica's side of the story. Don't know why she needed to get into it again when the manager was clearly standing right there hearing everything. She of course storms off. While waiting for the manager to speak to us, he rudely asked okay so tell me what's going on. We were just thinking he was going to go after her. His response was " Well I'm still standing here!" He then proceeds to tell us that customers are responsible for bringing in the vaccination records. That's common sense. Which we did and was still told so in a condescending way. The main point wasn't the fact that the vaccination records weren't accepted. The issue was the way it was approached. If she was ultimately going to pick up the phone and call the vet's office, then she could have done so. I went into my vet's app and obtain the record showing a screenshot of when the next shot was due. Jessica could have just easily explained the process and apologized for any confusion the Petco app may have given. Ultimately we were asked if we would still like to leave our dog to be groomed. Like we would after that interaction. For people who handle animals, they are rude and seem miserable with their own lives. What's coincidental is that this was my 8th booking for grooming which was supposed to be free. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDEOUS. GO HERE IF YOU LIKE TO BE TALKED TO IN A CONDESCENDING MANNER.
