Worst pet insurance and rip off. Would never use this company ever again. They make you keep scheduling appointments and charge you for things you don’t need for your pet. I quit using them when they never met my pets need for good health and just wanted to make money. Customer service sucks too very rude and they don’t care about your pet or your time. Don’t use them do not recommend this pet insurance.

I'll make this as brief as I can because the following experience haunts me. My 12 year-old cat was brought in in January '26 because a scrap with another cat had loosened his front canine. I brought him to Banfield Glendale. They examined him, did a blood test, and--though they said there was something in the test results that wasn't ideal--went ahead with a dental cleaning and extraction the next day that I was quoted at $2400... They told me the cost while he was under anesthesia at one point saying, "We need you to make a decision on this because we don't like him being under." The 2400 was nowhere near what I had discussed with another employee who had said we are looking at 800-1000. I asked to speak to the person who was actually in charge of my cat at that moment and a woman got on the phone who--I am not exaggerating--talked AT me for 7 minutes without pause telling me the options I had at other places if I wasn't going to agree to the extractions. Each person I talked to seemed affectless and cold. Terrible service and treatment. But honestly whatever. But this is nothing compared to what I realized later when my cat went into a slow death decline in the weeks when I brought him home: between when I had brought him to Banfield in June of '25 and when he came as mentioned above in January of '26 he had lost 40% of his body weight. Forty percent. And no one said anything. No secretary. Surgeon. Nobody. And yet they went ahead and put my cat under that went from 18 lbs to 11 in six months. My cat was dead by mid-February.

Do not take your animals here. Vets are mean, poorly trained and discriminatory. Staff is unprepared to handle anything beyond flea medication and they manage to complicate that.
