  This place can be very up and down on service . Now I placed an order on chewy on the 7th of sept and I called today on the 14th wondering why it hasn’t been approved and Tina said it’s bc there’s only ONE pharmacy tech there working and they already have had many complaints on backed up chewy orders. It’s been 7 days for her to approve my order and have my dogs medicine sent to me. The company doesn’t care to hire another person it seems or the turnover rate on employees here is bad. These medicines mean a lot to our pets. If a Walgreens pharmacy kept their meds from them for a week pending approval I’m sure they would be upset too. I might have to consider moving locations now that I can’t depend on these guys. It’s a tough choice but I would have to look around bc I can’t afford to call the vet to do their jobs and approve a medicine online.

  Very very disappointed. I’ve been coming here for a decade. 4 dogs and 4 cats currently. Many more over the years and referred dozens. Lately it has been very difficult to make an appointment and walk in hours appear to be a suggestion. I was told 2:30 -5:00 pm for walk in service today. . I arrived at 3:50 and was told he just announced no more for today?? My dog is itching something fierce. He just needs a shot of cytopoint. Because he hasn’t had one in over a year he requires a visit and would not see him. My dog is 8 years old and has received these shots when needed with no issues. I asked if a tech could just give him a shot. Nope. So now on the heels of a holiday weekend I have to find a new vet I will get over it. Don’t be a vet if you can’t put your clients (pets) first. Stated hours are open till 6:00 pm today. Apparently he had to leave early. No sign on the door and of course no one answered the phone when I called in be fore coming down. I was here with plenty of time to see him for a second and give the shot. Got off work early and drove here 30 mins away. No more. No loyalty for years of service. I wasn’t asking for much. If you can’t be available during your posted hours, hire another vet. Which over the years he has had quite a turn over with other vets . Wonder why? He used to be a fantastic vet. No longer. Do yourself a favor establish care with a reliable vet and don’t come here

  I called to have a 4 month old kitten neutered and was quoted an outrageously expensive $430 There are many places in OC that neuter for under $200 and there are some that are close to $100. I will probably get my kitten neutered at AM PM Spay and Neuter in Norwalk for $115

  I love bringing my pets here. If you can make an appointment then it's no different than any other pet hospital except that it's much easier on your wallet. If you need to do a walk in, you need to be patient and pay attention to the staff-animal ratio. If there are just too many pets there and not enough staff then you gotta decide if you wanna hang out or not. They are friendly and caring people. They will treat you as nice as you treat them just like any other business.
