Overall, our experience at Banfield was very positive, especially because of Dr. Gonzales. The appointment process was smooth, the wait time was reasonable, and the front desk staff and nurses were very welcoming, supportive, and prompt with follow-ups. Dr. Gonzales was incredibly kind, compassionate, and reassuring during a very difficult time for our little dog, who has struggled with severe allergies for years. Recently, he was in so much pain that he started hiding in the restroom, which completely broke our hearts, and she truly made us feel supported and cared for. The only small thing I would mention is that I wish the clinic felt a little more refreshed and tidy. Aside from that, the care and attention Dr. Gonzales and the staff gave our little one truly outweighed any minor concerns. We are very grateful for them.

During my visit, I was verbally presented with certain costs related to the membership and agreed to proceed based on the information given to me then. I paid believing I was only responsible for the charges explained to me during checkout. Only after payment was completed was I provided printed paperwork containing additional terms and charges that were never verbally disclosed beforehand. This included a membership fee, early termination liability, and cancellation policies. None of these terms were reviewed with me before I paid, and I was not given an opportunity to meaningfully review the agreement in advance. Later, when I attempted to cancel I was informed of significant additional financial obligations and was told Banfield’s internal system reflected different totals than the invoice I had originally been provided. I believe I was misled into entering this agreement without proper disclosure of the true financial obligations and cancellation terms before payment was processed.

My dog was had bloody stool and stopped eating and drinking a couple of days after receiving vaccines. Banfield took his blood work which showed severe anemia and recommended an ER visit for a blood transfusion. They shared a host of illnesses he could have but needed further verification. They also sent out his bloodwork for a CBC. The CBC came back with different results - no anemia or need for a blood transfusion - which they did not proactively share with me until my follow-up visit three days later. Also no clear explanation of why the results were vastly different. I spent nearly $1,300 for GI issues. Thankfully I declined the blood transfusion. I am still confused about why this happened.

They were quick and so compassionate for my little puppy who was obviously scared. They took good care of us. Would recommend. The vet is very kind and knowledgeable also.
