  I love coming here! Everyone is super welcoming and always make sure I get my discounts and use my benefits. I love their VETCO services here. The Vet, Vet assistants and front desk staff are helpful and communicate well. They are so nice to our mini Schnauzer and us the humans. Grooming is also well priced and staff is also super welcoming and resourceful. This is my favorite Petco in North County! Did I mention buying crickets for ny Leopard Gecko is super easy. They let me call ahead!

  Padres K9 promo isn't being honored for prescriptive diets anymore when it was for over a year that we needed it. And while it may have been the policy and it wasn't being enforced why would you then take it away and not just add it to the promo? Are you really losing that much money on it? I highly doubt it. Additionally to hear that people had been fired over it is disheartening. Do better and until you do I will be attempting to send my business elsewhere. I don't need to support a company that doesn't support the entirety of the community that are it's patrons and penalizes employees in such a way.

  Petco employees are always great, Jacki, DeDe and Marty at the San Marco CA location are really exceptional, Matt and Spencer at Carmal Mt Ranch CA really very good and helpful, and Maria at the Escondido CA location always so nice and helpful, Thanks Petco you seem to hire the best people.

  Staff is friendly and helpful. But the inventory of what I want to buy is always spotty. i invariably go to purchase my cat food and related items and the store is out or has hardly any in supply. I almost always now just purchase over the internet. I hate to do that since I want the store to thrive and employees to have jobs - but I am so frustrated when I visit. This last time, the entire shelf/ line of canned cat food that I buy was empty except for 2 tiny cans. I asked the employee if they were no longer carrying that brand - but they said they did not think that the brand was being eliminated. They were correct - on line I could purchase the products easily.
