I would not take my dog here if Whitney Foster was the Vet available. She is very inexperienced and insensitive. She misdiagnosed my dog as having congestive heart failure. After she had 3 XRays taken, she did not show them to me. She told me that though she did not see any masses in her XRays, and needed additional taken to see if she has cancer. The actual condition she has is a heart murmur which was confirmed by another Vet. Having a senior dog, I have worked with several Vets over the years, and fortunately have not had an experience of working with someone like Foster and it's one that I would not repeat again. She would be better suited to work in a laboratory and not with people or animals.

I took my dog to this clinic, where she was examined and prescribed antibiotics for a UTI. The doctor also recommended a urine culture test. However, before the culture results came back, they had already prescribed antibiotics. I specifically asked whether it would be better to wait for the results so my dog could receive the most appropriate medication. I was told that the antibiotic prescribed would be effective regardless of the culture results. I followed their instructions and gave my dog the medication, but three weeks later she is still having issues. When she started urinating blood again, I called the clinic and explained what was happening. I specifically asked how urgent the situation was and whether I should take her to an emergency hospital. I was told that if she was eating, drinking, and otherwise acting normally, she should be fine to wait for an appointment. Based on that advice, I did not take her to an urgent care clinic and instead scheduled the earliest appointment they had available 9am. When I arrived for the appointment, someone came outside to inform me that the doctor had called in sick and suggested I try another location. What is most frustrating is that no one contacted me beforehand to let me know the appointment had been canceled. I was told the doctor had called out approximately an hour and fifteen minutes before my scheduled appointment, yet no one made the effort to notify me. Given the urgency of my dog’s condition and the fact that I relied on the clinic’s guidance when deciding not to seek emergency care, I find it extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional to have wasted my time and delayed her treatment due to a lack of communication and diligence. I expected better communication and a greater sense of responsibility toward both patients and their owners.

Loved my old vet Dr Dan who moved to NC. The substitute vet all of a sudden diagnosed my 12 year old dog with a heart murmur never detected before. Trying to inflate the vet bill. Maybe.

I brought my cat for a wellness visit and a concern. Dr. Barnes was great and quickly identified the source of my cat’s disease and explained the proposed treatment with clarity and care.
