  I am very disappointed with petco grooming. I was quoted 43 for a bath and glands package. I ended up paying $80. One of the added fees was $6 for materials. When I asked what materials, they said I don’t know we just add it on. My dog, who is never anxious, was super anxious to be left with these people. That should have been my only sign to leave. I wish I had. When I called to ask for an explanation of my costs the lady was rude and condescending. I just asked for an explanation. I’m a loyal customer when I find a good place. Your loss PETCO.

  I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the way my recent prescription refill was handled. My cat’s previous prescription had expired, so I did exactly what was required—I contacted my veterinarian, who had evaluated my cat and issued a new prescription. Despite providing a valid, current prescription from my licensed veterinarian, I was told my order could not be filled because it had “not been verified by your vet.” My cats are not patients of Petco or your veterinary clinic. They are under the care of my own veterinarian, who has already determined that this prescription is medically appropriate. I do not understand why another veterinarian who has never treated my pets would need to verify or approve a prescription that was written by my own vet. This prescription is for my cat’s prescription food—not a controlled substance or medication with abuse potential. Delaying access to medically necessary prescription food creates unnecessary stress for both me and my pets and could negatively impact their health. As a pet owner, I expect a valid prescription from my licensed veterinarian to be processed promptly and professionally. Instead, I have experienced unnecessary delays, confusion, and frustration. I would appreciate an explanation of why my veterinarian’s prescription was not accepted and what steps Petco will take to ensure customers do not experience similar issues in the future. Despite coming to the store for 3 times and literally begging them to get my cats foods refilled, it was denied by Kate - apparently the store manager, so I am supposed to go without my cats food until their vet approves the prescription during a holiday weekend for next 3 days.

  This place is always in disarray and sales floor management is non existent. I made my review before only to have them give me a number to store and not answer. - even then what’s gonna change? Im going to get an b.s apology? That doesn’t change anything, nor does it revoke my expectation and experience here. Truly this place here, this exact location that is Apart of this corporation made me never want to shop at Petco ever again.

  No excuse for this level of poor service. From the vet (on occasions)- depending if the front desk has an attitude…to the sales floor (all the time) - there’s never any confident leaders or an order to their chaos. Everyone’s always walking around pissed off, disorganized or “busy”. Submitted an online order for pick up today 6/14/26 @6:59pm. A simple Small carpeted cat hideaway hole. $20. Waited for an hour no update, get out of work head over and still no update turns out they haven’t even begun to look for it. Cashier says I can go look for it, doesn’t tell me where it might be. I look over and can’t find it, still no help on the floor to the point where other customers are complaining aloud about lack of customer service. I climbed a set of steps and looked all over their stock on the shelves still, no offer for help or any attempt to stop me from using the store equipment. (About 30 mins) Finally I go back up to the front to request help again and finally there’s another employee at the front and says they can help. I wait another (10-15 mins) for the employee to come back, but instead it’s another different employee and they say “sorry looks like it’s out of stock.” Then proceeds to show me a “similar one” at a $20 up charge…I am very very disappointed with this facility and its services.
