  Darryl, the Osterman, and all the cashing units at this store are great and helpful every time I come in. Just wish you had prescription food there. But when the cats gotta go, it's off to the El Cajon Petco I go!!!!

  I always find a decent selection of pet supplies here, and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. However, I noticed that some items tend to be a bit pricier than at other stores, and the aisles can get crowded, making it hard to navigate at times. Overall, it's a solid place to shop for my furry friends.

  Probably the worst petco I’ve been to. The few times I’ve come in the employees are rude and standoffish. I was desperate for a tank for my gecko who’s door broke so I placed it for pickup to make it quick. They were the only petco to have it in San Diego so I drove over 30 minutes to get here. It still wasn’t ready when I got here and I pulled the last one off the shelf and brought it to the front. She gave me some attitude stating they technically had an hour to pick it. Which coming from retail and working with bopis/online ordering I can with certainly say that they’re supposed to be faster then that not wait the hour for it to time out. Then they wouldn’t bring a flat cart to bring it out (tank was too big for their carts
