We had an incredible experience at Echo Park Veterinary Hospital, especially with Holly Polk. We came in needing urgent care for our 16.5-year-old dog, and not only were we seen and treated the same day, but the entire team showed genuine care for our boy throughout. Holly Polk was thorough, patient, and kind — she has this great balance of being matter-of-fact while staying calm and reassuring, which made a stressful situation so much easier. Since then, we’ve had to come back a couple of times for a persistent ear infection, and every time the staff has been accommodating about getting us in quickly. Dr. Przekop saw us on one of these return visits and was great as well. Everyone we’ve dealt with has been friendly and communicative. Overall, we’ve had a wonderful experience with the care our dog has received here, and we’re grateful to have found them.

It felt like just a boring transaction. 3 out of 5 staff members were not hospitable, just “ doing their job” attitude. I even tried a couple times to start a conversation but on the bright side, pricing is very transparent and they don’t upsell. So meh

I took my cat there because he had an injury on his leg and couldn't walk, and I could tell he was in immense pain. They couldn't tell what was wrong with him, even after X-rays. After $600 They said just take him home and if it gets worse, bring him back. Well, after 2 weeks, he started limping again, and I noticed a large growth on his leg. I looked at the X-rays and noticed that they DID NOT xray that part of his leg where the growth was forming. I took him back and showed them that they were negligent in their examination, and NOT ONE of the staff would apologize, let alone admit they did anything wrong. The doctor who examined my cat originally was not there, and everyone just kept making excuses for him, saying that he just didn't x-ray that part of his leg because he didn't think it was necessary. What?? My cat has never fully recovered. He can't even jump up on the bed easily. I can't say whether it would've been different if the injury had been found in the original examination, but it may have helped to treat him sooner. They were all so unapologetic and indifferent. And to top it off, when I brought him back, they charged me for the second set of X-rays that had to be done because the first ones that I paid for were botched inproperly done. Another $250!! I will never go here again,

I brought my foster kitten Nutter Butter here on a Sunday morning after he got some nasty conjunctivitis Saturday. The poor little guy was very uncomfortable, and I am so grateful Echo Park Veterinary Hospital was able to accept us as walk-ins. We waited for a little over an hour, and the time passed quickly thanks to all the other lovely pet guardians in the lobby. Treatment was thorough, efficient, and reasonably priced. I even walked out with flea meds for NB and his two siblings at home. Thank you for all you do for our sweet critters!

First time today after changing vet and the visit with my cat who has an infected eye was great ! Doctor was very kind and knowledgeable, willing to explain medication also the ones I already have at home and we left happy to have found our new vet ! Thank you ! They weren’t secretive about costs and procedures and price was totally acceptable! Sheeba says thank you !
