  Dr Wignel and all of the staff helped my family navigate through hip replacement and many other difficult medical procedures throughout my Bernese Mountain dog life. I would use them again in a heart beat, I loved their car.

  Thanks to Dr. Louis Roussille at IronHorse VetCare, our dog received the correct diagnosis and treatment. She was initially diagnosed with kidney disease elsewhere. Dr. Louis investigated further and identified an entirely different underlying condition (diabetes insipidus, associated with a pituitary abnormality), requiring a different treatment approach. Her excessive thirst and urinary incontinence are now well controlled with medication. The staff is also very good with nervous dogs. Our dog gets extremely stressed at vet visits, and they have been patient and gentle with her. Very grateful to Dr. Louis and the team!

  A huge shoutout to Dr. Wignall for dealing with three separate very weird paw injuries in my crazy German Shorthair girl over the years. It took a lot of tears, three broken splints and some very kind hand-holding on his part to get us through the latest one - a gnarly dynamic toe luxation I had originally been recommended to proceed with amputation with. I've always considered him to have a very measured outlook on conservative management vs surgical intervention, which I appreciate in a surgeon. Happy to report that despite some bandaging complications (who gets a foxtail IN their splint? My dog. That's who.) Flair is back to running and hiking off leash, and has even returned to the show ring for the first time since her injury in June '26 (photo from this month!). She got loads of compliments on her movement - which we wouldn't have been able to preserve without the help of Dr. Wignall and his team. Thanks again!

  Please, I beg you, if you're looking to bring your pet here, read other reviews and mine talking about medical mismanagement like prescribing the wrong things, doing uneccesary procedures for money and misdiagnosing. If your dog has severe IBD issues don't bring him here, and don't bring him to see Dr Louie. He signed a death sentence for our sweet family dog and we can't even do anything to undo the damage and pain his incompetence cost our family. My dog has severe IBD that caused rectal prolapse and he prescribed him the wrong medication. His symptoms did slowly worsened to the point he had to get surgery and is now going through end of life care despite being only 5 years old. His medication mismanagement was called out by another vet we got a second opinion from. This other vet was ASTONISHED and irritated by his medical mismanagement that could have prevented this outcome for us. Sincerely from the bottom of my heart, I hope he has reprecussions for being so reckless with the life of our family member. He does not care. Nor is he qualified to be vet. Our family will have to grieve this pain.

  Each staff member was incredibly caring and sweet throughout my cat’s visit. From checking him in to him being discharged, everyone was so attentive and kept me updated during his three-night stay. I’m so grateful to have an emergency hospital so close by. Thank you all for your help! :) 🩷😊
