- DED EJul 28, 20262.0I give 2 stars because the veterinarians are thorough and compassionate. My cat’s euthanasia was carried out in the best possible way and it was affordable. However, in a separate dental treatment Banfield charged $4000 for 5 extractions. That is out of the customary range in the area. I asked if they could reduce the bloodwork on the day of the dental because my cat had the bloodwork done the previous week with no abnormalities. No one ever responded. Get your pet’s dental work done somewhere else where they provide an estimate before having your pet on the table.

During my visit, I felt that my concerns were ignored, my dogs were not treated with the care and attention they deserved, and vaccines were administered without my authorization. The treatment my dogs actually needed was not provided, forcing me to seek care elsewhere. What was most upsetting was the way my dogs were handled. They were clearly stressed, and the staff did not even remove their collars before treating them. It felt rushed, careless, and unprofessional. I filed a complaint, but Banfield has still not provided a satisfactory response or taken any visible action regarding this incident. I have been a Banfield customer for over 7 years, but after this experience, I have lost confidence in this clinic. If you choose this location, I strongly recommend paying close attention to who treats your pets. What was most upsetting was the way my dogs were handled. They were clearly stressed, and the staff did not even remove their collars and identification tags before treating them. It felt rushed, careless, and unprofessional. Our pets depend on us to protect them, and they deserve compassionate, respectful care.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
