  My Vet recommended me here for their cat food since my senior cat is having some stomach issues. The staff was super friendly! I was greeted by the chef and when I checked out the cashier was extremely friendly as well and informed me about the recommended portions for the food. Awesome place!!

  I order often and have big batches of food delivered. This order was placed 1 week in advance, I was charged and it never arrived. I left a message with no callback in the am. Still no food delivery at or callback at 3pm. I attempted to contact the store, however, had to leave a vm. 20 min later, I called back, and spoke with an employee who stated they were having delivery issues recently. They stated my food was not delivered bc fish was not fresh. This was the opposite information I was told on phone when ordering. After a lengthy hold, I asked how the situation was going to be resolved. Thankfully, I was DoorDashed 1 frozen recipe, and my box of fresh recipe that was not delivered as ordered. I was initially told xyz would be sent, which was not the amount I ordered and was charged for. Called back, no one was answering the phone, I didn't want the incorrect amount delivered, so called the HB store and they sent a message to CM store. In the end, I was left with frozen food, unnecessary stress and time spent on rectifying something that could have been handled with a phone call. I hope in the future, information is better communicated about why a delivery was not being made. This is unfortunate. On a better note, I have been a customer for years, and have not had an issue like this previously. The couriers have ALWAYS been curtious and communicated effectively. Plus all my my 🐾🐾 past and previous LOVE this food. Bulk options are the way to go. I hope for a better experience nextime.

  STOP exploiting DoorDash drivers with these insulting orders, Just Food For Dogs! Today I got hit with another terrible one: $29 guaranteed for a DOUBLE order (2 orders, 4 items), 30.4 miles one way — that’s over 61 miles round trip. That’s less than 50 cents per mile before gas, vehicle wear and tear, and my time. In Orange County traffic this easily takes 1.5 to 2 hours. After expenses I’m basically working for free or losing money. This is the second time I’ve had to come here and publicly call you out. You keep sending these long-distance, low-paying orders through DoorDash and screwing over the drivers. Many of us can’t even reject them freely because DoorDash penalizes low acceptance rates and it costs us money and work opportunities. Enough is enough. If you can’t pay a fair wage for these deliveries, then hire your own transportation service, use a proper courier company that actually pays drivers, or deliver the orders yourselves. It’s “only” 30 miles, right? Your car, your gas, your time! Respect the Dashers who actually get your dog food to the customers. We’re not your cheap disposable labor. Other Dashers reading this: if you’ve received these awful lowball orders from Just Food For Dogs, leave a review too. They need to feel the pressure from all of us.

  LOVE the Newport Beach kitchen and Jalissa there. They answered all my questions including super involved nutrition questions. Super welcoming and patient. I’m just transitioning to JFFD and off to a very happy start!
