  The male clerk did not want to pack the merchandise for me as an elderly woman. He just stood there and watched. He was not very helpful and had a short fused for some reason. He acted like he didn’t want to be there.

  I would 100% not recommend Kevin the groomer.I arrived about 10 minutes late for my appointment and was told he could not accommodate my dog because he had too many dogs scheduled. What made this especially frustrating is that the last time I had an appointment with him, he was approximately 15 minutes late himself.It seemed as if he was looking for a appointment to cancel and he had no problem making it mine. When I asked if my appointment was being canceled because I was late, he told me he simply had too many dogs and couldn’t take my dog anymore. The interaction felt very dismissive and unprofessional. I found Kevin to be condescending and rude. To make matters worse, I was told there were no other appointments available that day. However, when I checked online afterward, there was an opening at 12:30. I ended up taking my dog to another groomer, they were extremely professional and friendly.Customer service and communication matter, and unfortunately this experience fell far short of expectations.

  Something odd going on at this store, I'm guessing new management. The atmosphere just isn't as friendly or happy. They used to have these great pet adoption events...dogs, turtles, snakes etc. The place would be packed and it was fun and educational. Now, nothing. They need to bring that back. Also, I see a big staff turnover and the new folks don't know much and are pretty glum. If I need something, I look for the staff who has been there a while. Justin or Randy. Both are amazing and super helpful. Nomi (sp) is very sweet and you can tell they she loves animals. Kat, the dog trainer is also really helpful. I hope they get their old vibe back.

  I was at this store to get both dogs groomed, my one dog was good to go my other dog needed her updated shot records. While im retrieving the records they were taking in other dogs.I informed them that I had her records but the waited until they did every other dog that came in instead of finishing me up and tell me afterwards that I would have to reschedule my appointment because it's been pass 40 mins in which I informed them that I had been there on time waiting and that it was not right for me to reschedule my appointment. Another employee came and told me let him see what he could do. All of them left and later returned and told me that they didn't feel comfortable with doing my dogs and that they weren't going to do them at all. This is the most racist stuff I ever encounter and never been treated like this by any other petco. I will never bring any of my dogs back to them, also im contacting my attorneys and the NAACP, and other agencies as well to report what happened to me and my dogs .Warning don't go there at all.

  My husband took our Shitzhu to get groomed and the experience was not what we expected at what’s so ever. The appointment was for 315 they called saying it was going to take longer because there was a wait , ok fine but why offer an appointment time if you are backed up. My dog wasn’t ready for pick up until 6pm , ok he’s grooming obviously takes time. My dogs face was not cut and his nails are not trimmed. The online price for grooming that we choose was $78 my husband ended up paying over $110 including leaving a tip. Why was this over charged for a service that wasn’t even completed.
