(Part 2/3 from my last post)
Anyways, I decided to take my pet to another Banfield in Lincoln and let me just say that my pet was treated with love and the Doctor was trying to help me to the best of her ability to keep my pet steady. If it wasn't for me visiting the Banfield in Lincoln, I wouldn't have known that I was overcharged a total of $536 for services that should have been covered by my pet's wellness plan. No one at this Citrus Heights location ever mentioned anything to me about this, therefore not only was my pet neglected, but I was also overcharged and had to be refunded by Banfield for their mistake. The Doctor at Lincoln decided to transfer my pet's medical records to VCA in Loomis since she noticed that my pet was in a lot of pain and even apologized by saying that the Citrus Heights location did not do a good job about taking more samples or X-ray tests to see what was really happening in my pet's mouth. It wasn't until I visited the VCA in Loomis that I found out the real problem. It turns out that my pet had cancer and absolutely no Doctor at this Citrus Heights location told me. If I would have known before, I wouldn't have made my pet suffer by taking her to appointments or having her teeth removed if that wasn't the solution. I honestly feel like I was being overcharged, my pet was neglected, and just seen as a symbol of money to these staff and Doctors at this location because they will try to do anything to keep you there without resolving the major issue. After four days of my pet's passing, I receive a voicemail from a Doctor at this Citrus Heights location and all I get are condolences from her. This made me even more upset because when I wanted to speak with her directly in person, she denied seeing me because she was apparently "too busy" and now that nothing could be done, she says that without remorse when she and her team are responsible for the loss of my pet. All in all, I hope that my story helps those of you that are loving pet parents who are trying to get immediate answers about your pets wellbeing. THIS IS NOT THE LOCATION TO GO TO. From the bottom of my heart, please take your pet's elsewhere to get treated because the staff at this location are very unprofessional, put you on long holds on the phone, can be rude over phone if you tell them it's an emergency, and will not get your needs or pets needs resolved. This place is a 0/5 for me.

(Part 1/2) For those of you seeking special care for your pet/s, I advise you to please not come to this location. Banfield is a good Veterinary Clinic, however the staff at this location, as well as the Doctors, were not very helpful and they overcharged me for services that were supposed to be covered in my pet's wellness plan. In the month of June of this year, my pet was presenting symptoms that led to severe pain in the mouth as well as inflammation. Her cheek got swollen and her eye was also getting affected due to her severe condition in the mouth. When I took her in for the first time to this location, I was told that she had to get her teeth removed because that was the only solution to help her not be in pain anymore. On top of that, if it wasn't for me, they would not have known that she had to be tested for a heart exam due to her heart murmur. In other words, they would have put her under anesthesia to remove her teeth, which is concerning because my pet needed additional tests done before teeth surgery. Therefore, I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with them for my pet to have her heart exam done before the teeth surgery. Luckily, the results came out well in order to proceed with the teeth removal, but after my pet's teeth removal my pet started presenting symptoms that were causing her to become worse. Due to this matter, I scheduled another appointment and explained to the receptionist that her cheek was still swollen and was dripping lots of blood with a heavy saliva. I was very worried because it appeared that teeth removal was not the solution to her wellbeing and had a feeling there was something else. I took my pet in another time as a drop off and was told she was healing okay and was told that my pet dripping some blood with saliva was normal due to the recent teeth surgery. On top of that she had her rabies shot and other "tests done" saying that she doesn't have cancer and applied an anti-leukemia injection, but this is all they said after hours of waiting for her appointment to be complete that day. Next, I take my pet back home and overtime notice that she is getting worse. It was up until the point where she could no longer open her mouth, her eye pupil was shrinking on the swollen side, she was having trouble walking/standing, was losing weight, her thick heavy saliva kept dripping from her swollen cheek side, was losing hair, and her vision was affected. I kept constantly monitoring her and when I wanted to schedule another appointment at this location, I was told that she couldn't be seen there despite the fact that they had a drop off spot available. When I needed immediate attention and wanted her to get checked another time, I was denied. I was truly upset and angry because I wanted to speak with the Doctor, but she just kept sending her receptionists back to me to say that she couldn't take anymore visits when the receptionist had told me that there were a few slots left. (Part 2 in the next comment) My whole experience is told in the images below.
