- KLKris LobatonJun 19, 20261.0I took my dog in last Wednesday for grooming but did not specify that I also wanted a haircut, so the groomer rescheduled for 2 days later at 8am. I planned my day and morning to get there at 8am on Friday but was told that my dog was only booked for a bath and that they are not able to accommodate my dog for a bath and haircut at this time. They suggested a reschedule, but I was disappointed after this messed up my plans for the entire day, so I left and will not be coming back here again. I will find another groomer who respects my time and who is more organized.
- SASuzanne AbercrombieJun 4, 20263.0Before the groomer took Quinn back, I informed her that Quinn was a fearful dog and didn’t liked to be touched on her head/neck area. The grooming went fine. It wasn’t until the groomer attempted to take the leash off Quinn and was kneeling down in front of Quinns’s face and was touching Quinn around her face and neck that I warned her that Quinn was about to react and bit her out of fear. The groomer didn’t listen and Quinn reacted and bit her above the wrist. After that the groomer went and spoke with another groomer and returned to me and advised that Quinn would not be welcomed back. Quinn has been coming to PetCo for nail buff since she was a puppy and we’ve never had an incident because the groomer followed my directions. I don’t feel it’s fair to punish Quinn for the groomers inability to listen.
