- LCLexy ColemanMay 6, 20261.0I went into Petco today to shop for a few things for my cat, and as I walked past the bird section, I couldn’t help but notice how deplorable the conditions were. The cages were visibly filthy, and the birds appeared extremely stressed and neglected. It was genuinely upsetting to witness. On top of that, seeing birds priced at $799 was absolutely astonishing and honestly disturbing. Animals should be treated with proper care and compassion, not displayed in unacceptable conditions with outrageous price tags attached to them. Please do better.
