- SCSusie CollinsAug 6, 20263.0My dog was very sick and They did get me in right away, however trying to talk to someone on the phone was a bit frustrating. I was asked if it was an emergency, put me on hold and 17 minutes latter I called on my husbands phone and got same person with the same response. When she realized who I was and she still had me on hold, she said she was just getting ready to take my call. She did seem a bit stressed and maybe, expected to do a little too much. I believe they need to have at least two people at the counter, one checking in and the other taking calls. I believe the prices are over the top, but what isn’t these days .i have had an experience where my dog was given a vaccine and a vet came out to give it to her again….maybe a little disorganized.

I am very meticulous about caring for my animal and instead of introducing herself, she barged into the room after I refused to let the vet tech to put a muzzle on my dog. She wanted to talk about "him" possibly injuring the staff, lunging at them, biting, etc. This was supposed to be her first visit at this location to establish care and she didn't even bother to talk to me FIRST before wanting to take my dog away to the treatment room. Didn't greet me OR the dog at all. Just came in aggressive and defensive. Mind you, it's a SHE and she has NEVER harmed any staff ANYWHERE. She goes to daycare 3x/week and socializes well with other dogs and the staff. She always gets GLOWING remarks from her vet visits and daycare. Had Dr. Lopez taken the time to be professional and TALK to me instead of walking into the room aggressively to justify muzzling my dog that has NEVER required a muzzle is crazy. I told her that I didn't like her vibe and left. I would NEVER trust her around ANY dog, much less my own. I have NEVER walked out on a vet office until today. Absolutely do NOT recommend!

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
