- FSFreddy SanchezMay 20, 20261.0I had a 3:30 PM appointment for my dog at Banfield Chatsworth. We arrived 10 minutes early to check in and were placed in a room right away. The clinic was empty, yet we waited 40 minutes and no one came in to acknowledge us or explain the delay. I left with my dog. We will not be returning to this Banfield, we’ll be going back to our regular Banfield in Northridge. Very disappointed with the customer service, if this is how they handle timely appointments, imagine what happens if someone is running late.
- MLMatthew LindonganApr 22, 20265.0I started coming here when my previous dog, my soul dog Mocha became very ill. The whole care staff was very supportive, compassionate and caring. Unfortunately, Mocha passed. When I got another dog and was gifted with another one, I wanted to make sure that they get the best care possible so I took them to Banfield and got both of them care plans. The staff is truly amazing and they make sure that my little ones don’t miss any appointments and follow up’s. Give them a shot, it’ll be one of the best decisions you’ll make.

Went in to get a diagnosis for my pet and even though the results came in two days after the sample was taken, the staff sat on the results, and nothing was communicated to me. I had to follow up with the location just to be met with a rude staff. The vet said I was argumentative and yet they didn't want to take any ownership on their protocols. If I got heated was because I care about the wellness of my pet and the lump she has on the side of her body has me concerned. Too bad all they care is about upselling and charging for services and there is no follow up or follow through.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
