If you're looking for bare minimum care and getting nickel and dimed all along the way, Hamilton Banfield is for you. Don't expect what they tell you on the phone to mean anything.

I do not recommend bringing using this specific location of Banfield Pet hospital. Please do not bring your pet here. Im sure everyone is just doing there job and things can get difficult sometimes making decisions etc. Despite company policy witch is the #1 excuse, but what about providing A professional service were people can work together in making sure our animals are good, we all love our animals every single one in this world. I want to share my experience here so that anyone taking the time reading this can feel what I felt. Came in May 18, 2026, my dog Penny got the exam and the 1st part of the 2 part Lepto Vaccine. I declined the ANAL expression. For the exam all they did were check her heart beat. I mentioned some yeast/bacteria that might be on her ears. They did not check her ears or vitals at all. They wanted to charge me to check her ears and taking samples. They did not want to get close to my dog until I paid for that. For my 2nd appointment for the 2nd shot June 08, 2026, I called to confirm and ask if I had to pay for another exam after she just had one A couple weeks ago. Unfortunately they said yes and I declined the appointment. All I wanted was that 2nd shot for my dog. They told me that they are not A dedicated vaccine hospital. I felt completely blown off. I told them thank you but I no longer will like to use there services my dog is now out of that 2nd shot that we really needed we had A appointment. It is frustrating to know people move like this, I could never be like that thanks anyways.

I love Dr Rosen at the Banfield Hospital at Petsmart on Hamilton. He is so kind to me and my dog. He loves my Stella and they’re all very good to us there. I highly recommend it. Sheila G

Their team is great with Rolo since he’s a moody little dog since he’s gotten older this particular time he was really sick on Thursday and there was no openings till Tuesday, which would make him even worse. They took him in right away and fixed him up. Thank you, Banfield.
