  watch out for the one way parking. 2nd driveway is the in side. Very clean store. Lots of help.

  This store keeps good stock of Hills Science dog food and it's associates are willing to assist locating an item or with other needs.

  If I could give 0 stars, I would. This location used to be one of my favorites to take my dog grooming, but after 3 cancellations - that was it. The first cancellation had been because the groomer whom we had booked with had to step out because of a personal issue (under stable but why not find a solution as it is last minute for us as well) but we weren’t given anything, the second was because of a water issue (they MADE us cancel the appointment) yet after an hour or so they resolved the issue but never gave us our appointment time back as the issue was resolved WAY before the appointment time, and the third (and my favorite) reason - the associate who was in charge that day told us that “due to my dogs history - if he were to bite any of the groomers he’d be banned from petco” - ok! My dog has NEVEEERRRR had an issue with any of the employees at any of the petco locations we’ve taken him to. My dog as a pup growled at one male groomer and I had his old groomer at his old location to please put a note to let male employees to not get near his cage, as my dog has gotten older he is now calm and lets himself get handled by male groomers. As I have taken him to another petco location and a male employee did his grooming. This Burbank employee we have dealt with him before and he has handled our dog before when he brings him out for pick up. Now, Everytime we do pickup we get feedback right? Well - I’ve always heard “oh he’s a good boy, he gets nervous, has a little redness on the eye, etc” but I have never ONCE heard again “he growled at an employee” so when we explained that on the app it did not show who he was placed with and that he has no issue being groomed with a male, all we recieved was “well if he gets aggressive or does anything he won’t be allowed to comeback” at first I’m like ok they’re being careful and I respect that as I’m thinking of my dog as well, but then his tone and his vibe were just not it and I just didn’t feel comfortable leaving my dog with him at all, so I ended up rebooking ALL LAST MINUTE. A waste of our time and gas to be honest - he could have called or someone could have called the previous day to let us know. But it is what it is, we found a closer spot and a BETTER groomer still from petco - and she gave a wonderful service, she even let us know that the dryer is the thing that seems to make him nervous but all in all he was a good boy (AS HE ALWAYS IS AND HAS BEEN). Safe to say, won’t DEFINITELY be returning to this location EVER AGAIN. Such a nightmare.

  While I was walking through the store I like the fact you can see who the workers cut the hair of the dog and how everything is organized and well en care of.
