This review is for Candy at Burbank JFFD who is a ANGEL. She went above and beyond to help me out in a very stressful situation. Our senior dog is in very poor health so we removed the regular automatic deliveries because we thought we were going to have to put him to sleep soon.💔 (His situation has been day-to-day at this point.) Due to a mixup, I found out too late that he would be out of food for breakfast the next day. I was worried that if we had food delivered next day, it would be frozen and he wouldn’t have a meal until dinner when it thawed out. Because he’s on prescription renal food, it’s not something we can pick up at the local Petco.Candy offered to rush the food over that afternoon, and waived the expedited fee, so we would have it for the morning. This act go generosity and human kindness means so much to me, especially at such a stressful time in our lives as pet parents. Candy said she could tell I was stressed out and just wanted to make things easier. I hope JFFD realizes what a gem they have in Candy. We are so thankful for her. Two thumbs and four paws up from my dog who will be very excited to have breakfast in the am. I’ve never had a dog be so excited to eat. He loves their food.

There is nothing wrong with this location, everyone is nice and it’s clean and well stocked BUT their hours are so inconsistent. I drove the 20 mins to get there Sunday at 2:07pm and the staff was just locking up for lunch so we couldn’t by food. Monday we returned and it’s 4:30pm and they are out to lunch. There needs to be consistent, posted lunch hours because this is the fifth time this has happened this year (twice in two days!) regardless of what time I go there and it’s such a waste of a 40min round trip drive.
