  This store is always helpful and clean i always find what I need for my furbabies. The employees are polite and helpful when you ask questions.

  We usually like coming here because it's close to our home. We get all the necessities we need for our dogs. And we have no problem coming to the store with the dogs. Unfortunately, when my husband brought our dogs in the other day, his interaction with an individual (possibly the manager - as it appears that he was training a few employees) was very rude. He commented in a very rude manner "make sure you buy something". Obviously, if we have dogs in your store, we are very likely to purchase something. I'm not going to say we are not coming back to this store, it was just a poor interaction with one person. We are hoping no one else will have to be treated unprofessionally.

  This is the second time I have had a not so great experience at this store. First time, a sales associate was very pushy about the Petco monthly membership even though I declined it twice. This second time was the worst experience. I came to this location specifically because on the app it said they had a specific dog toy in store. I couldn’t find it in store, so I asked a sales associate for assistance in finding it. After I gave him the SKU he said they had it in the back but he couldn’t go get it because it wasn’t on shelf yet. I asked him why it was available for pick up and purchasable on the app if it is not available for an associate to get so that I can purchase it in store. He said it was because it can only be purchased by pick up. This is the first time that has happened to me at Petco so I am not sure if that is a company policy or the employee was not wanting to go get it. Then the same employee helps me at checkout and I very clearly had items in a bag from home that I wanted to return. I also VERY CLEARLY told him that I was going to exchange it. Then he proceeds to ring me up and I have a large total. I told him that didn’t seem right because I was exchanging the food. Then he says “ I didn’t know that” . Then we had to redo the whole transaction. He did not even apologize for the mistake. A simple sorry would have perfectly sufficed and fixed the situation, rather than feeling gaslit. Next time I will be driving a little further to take my business to a Petco that actually has decent customer service. No wonder the parking lot at this Petco is always so dead…. Visited on Saturday 5/31 at 5:30 pm. I don’t want to post the employees name on here out of respect for them, but hopefully the manager can figure it out based on the time stamp…..
