  I recently visited Brentwood Vetco (#1311) recommended by my animal breeder for vaccines. The first visit was uncomfortable as their receptionist Taylor was unfriendly/borderline rude in my opinion, both when I arrived and when I checked out. I overlooked it and planned to return for the follow-up shots. At the next appointment the Vet tech went over the costs with me and she informed me that Bordetella was in fact part of the “core puppy shots” a $50 something shot. Important, yes; core shot? No. I did my research and learned this is not actually a core shot. I called 6 other local vet clinics in my area asking is this a core shot? 3 offices were truthful saying Bortedella is NOT a core puppy vaccine, the other 3 lied, as Vetco did. I declined the shot at this time and I also took my business to VCA, who were graciously honest with me about the core shots. If you want an honest vet clinic for your animals I recommend VCA. Lastly, I visited Petcos website and found their Code of Ethics & Conduct. One section stood out to me: “You are expected to be honest, ethical, and fair and should endeavor to deal fairly with Petco's stakeholders (such as customers, vendors, suppliers, business partners, service providers, competitors and employees). You should not take unfair advantage of anyone through manipulation, concealment, abuse of privileged information, misrepresentation of material facts, or any other unfair-dealing practice. Doing the right thing means doing it right every time.”

  My dog got top notch care. She had to have emergency surgery. Everyone there was amazing. Better than any vet I’ve used in years!! So a huge shout out to Dr.Darlene and all the girls. I love you guys. Thank you so much for your quality care. I will recommend you to all my friends. Pickles thanks you too.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  The doctor and staff were so supportive and nice through my visit when I brought my sick cat to the clinic. They gave me several options on what they recommended for me to do. I told them I wanted to take my cat home and give him love before he left. I did that and in the morning he started talking to me and he has not done that in awhile. Afterwards he laid down and went to sleep and didn’t wake up. He went peacefully. I was grateful I spent a lot of time with him before he left. Thank you folks for your support.

  The staff at Vetco was super friendly. Our nurse Alicia was very sweet and patient with my fur babies, she made sure they were comfortable and at ease. Dr.Casuga was also super friendly and took great care of my babies. Prices were very reasonable and I will definitely be back when needed!

  We were there for 1.5 hours! Billing tool a VERY long time. I don't understand why it is more expensive with less shots (parvo & distemper) and getting the lowest pkg with additional Lyme & Rabies than it is to get the 2nd tier pkg with added Rabies even though my dog didn't need the Parvo/Distemper vaccine. In addition, my dog have never felt this sore or have been this lethargic after getting hos vaccines, and even vomited the next day.
