  I called this office shortly after they opened because a local emergency vet recommended I schedule a visit with Stine for my injured cat. I described my cat's symptoms & injury (he is an indoor cat with a cut on his mouth that has caused him issues with drooling + low energy.) I explained that in the couple days since he was injured we had tried for an appointment everywhere & our original appointment for him at his normal vet was still a few days away. I said we were worried with his increasingly concerning lack of energy, so we were looking for an office that could see him sooner. Immediately, the woman on the phone scolded me for having "waited so long." She scheduled an appointment, same day, for the afternoon. About half an hour before the scheduled appointment, she called me back to inform me that their doctor was "late to his lunch" & that she had scheduled my appointment at a time he wouldn't be there. She gave me the option to reschedule for an appointment later in the week, to which I declined. How are you gonna scold me for waiting too long to bring my cat to you guys & then cancel my appointment because your vet is late to his lunch?? I ended up taking my cat back to the emergency vet to have him seen there as the upfront fee at Stine was almost the exact same anyway.

  The staff and vet where nice, but having an appointment at 12:00 and not being seen until 1:45 is unacceptable. Why did they have 4 appointments for noon if that's when their staff takes lunch.

  We had to Euthanize our 15 year old precious cat today. We were so devastated, but everyone at Stein Veterinary was so kind and caring. They explained the process in great detail and answered all our questions. The staff made this unbearable experience peaceful and allowed us the time we needed to say goodbye to our beloved fur baby.

  Made an appointment, confirmed the appointment, was called the day before the appointment and told they wouldn't me able to see me for at least a month. Why bother making an appointment if you don't intend to honor it.

  I never thought I would be giving Stine Veterinary Hospital one star. In the beginning, I truly loved them. They were kind to me, took care of me, and I trusted them. Unfortunately, everything changed after I left. I called because I needed answers, and I never received a call back. I called again, and still nothing. What hurts the most is feeling like I suddenly don’t exist to them. I never did anything to deserve being ignored, and I honestly don’t understand what happened. I’m deeply disappointed. I’m done calling and waiting for answers. I’m sharing my experience because people deserve to know that how I was treated, someone after they leave matters too.
