  The guy at the register was RUDE!!!!’ I will never go back !! I said hello he didn’t answer me or look at me and when I was leaving I said very nicely you should be nicer and more welcoming he told me to not come back if I didn’t like it .., Probably why you’re so slow in there .

  Stopped and picked up some dog food for my spoiled Chihuahua on 6/22/26. I bought the food pictured, as she has had it before, purchased from different stores, and she likes it. Got it home and fed it to her and in the middle of the night she was throwing up. I checked the food this morning and the best buy date is March of 2026, 3 months ago. Shame on me for not looking, also, sham of Petco for not checking their product. Will not be back anytime soon

  Rarely will I leave a review this scathing, but its been sometime that an employee has left me speechless with how rude they are. Today (19June2026), I went into this particular Petco looking for starter feed for ducks. I figured they probably didnt carry it but it was worth a shot. I decided to ask the first employee I could find, a rather rotund twenty-something neckbeard tending the fishtanks. His response to the question was a literal look of disgust before responding 'I have no idea what you're talking about', and proceeds to walk away with no further comment. So, I asked the young lady at the front counter, she informed me that the store doesn't carry it but that she knew exactly who did and it was right down the road. Extremely helpful. To her I say thank you. And to the basement dweller who's time was too important to answer a question, find another line of work. Perhaps twitch streaming or guarding a bridge.

  The staff here are always kind and personable, even if the product I’ve asked for isn’t in stock or what they provide. I had a negative experience with the another shopper at this store in the last couple months, and the staff handled it with grace and understanding. The staff is top notch and it’s a welcome breath of fresh air, since it’s my local store. The Vet staff attached to the store follows suit and has become my go to for check ups. Very accommodating and well mannered. I’ll always come to this location first, and very rarely do I ever have to go anywhere else.
