Petco sources there birds from an awful place and it definitely shows. VERY upset that the only thing they offer is a refund if you bring the body in, because all they’re gonna do is throw it in the trash which is beyond insensitive. Our poor bird was already a big part of our little family and the last thing we want is for his body to be thrown in the trash. This is enough for us to never shop at Petco ever again, go buy your bird from a trusted source and not a big chain like Petco. But this goes for all other animals too ! Especially their betta fish who are also kept in HORRIBLE conditions.
