  The Petco on 22nd Street is a clean store with friendly helpful employees. I am usually able to find what I am looking for. My main complaint is that you cannot take a shopping cart out of the store because people are stealing them. An anti-theft pole is attached to the carts with a small metal strap fastened to the pole. I accidently cut my arm on that piece of metal. One of the employees gave me a bandaid. I told two employees that the manager needs to deal with this. This is a safety hazard!

  The cashier was exceptional! The person who helped me in the fish department was really not helpful at all, and a bit rude.

  Does Petco was great I got my cats shots from here The only thing I would say is it was a bit pricey for all the shots and everything. I went in and expecting to pay like $60 maybe for everything It was more like a hundred and something.

  Horrible. Asked a worker that was IN the fish department for some help, his response was a dumbfounded look, shaking his head and he said he didn't work in this department. No help. No getting someone for me. He was feeding the fish! Bye Petco, hello Petsmart!!

  I am not one to usually write reviews but my experience was so awful at this Petco that I had to share. My husband and I showed up on the 4th of July before the store closed at 7pm. We arrived about 6:55pm to grab some fish. The doors were open and the Store Manager and Cashier were there checking out customers. I quickly went to the aquatics center as I knew what fish I wanted and asked the Cashier for assistance. It was 6:50pm. A moment later the Store Manager came out and told us that he could not give us service as the store was closed. I noted that it was only 6:55pm and that we had come in before the store had closed. He was completely rude to my husband and myself noting that we shouldn't have come in 5 minutes before the store closed. I understand that everyone wants to go home and I am not dismissive of the fact that they were closing but it would have only taken a minute to put the fish in a bag and check us out. The Managers response was unacceptable as he could have locked the door at 6:45 if he was not going to allow people to shop until the store closed. I found the Manager to have a lack of professionalism and quite frankly as a customer felt that he could have been more respectful in his response to us. Unfortunately as a result of his dismissiveness from the store leadership, I will not be returning to this store ever again. I will spend my money in a place where I am treated with respect as a customer.
