Simone gets 5 stars and more for her service, friendliness, helpfulness, and patience. She was able to fully explain the systems were down and nobody could process payments that day ,however she still was able to retrieve the rabies certificate I needed for my travel as well as a list of the vaccinations received. Unlike Crystal the Banfield manager on Broadway, Simone was courteous, efficient and a fantastic employee with customer service. I truly hope that corporate gives her the promotion and pay raise which she truly deserves. By the way, she wasn't like this just for me but towards all the people in the office. Thank you Simone

Had an appointment, but injury looked like it was getting worse. Called and was able to get Coal in a day earlier. Everyone was so wonderful. And then they called to check on him this morning.

I'm not one to write reviews often, but I feel this one is justified. We had to say goodbye to one of our cats yesterday, and Dr. Sammons made the transition as peaceful as he could. His professionalism and kindness during our difficult time was truly a blessing. He made sure Toby was comfortable, and gave us plenty of time to say goodbye as he crossed over the rainbow bridge. He made sure the best interest of our cat was at the center of the care. It is never easy to say goodbye to a loved one, but the staff here gave us peace.

update: We received news today that our senior dog has an aggressive oral tumor that has invaded her jaw bone. Banfield misdiagnosed this as gingival hyperplasia for over a year. Because it was allowed to progress, we have two choices: to subject her to an invasive procedure to remove the tumor and part of her jaw, or let her live in as much comfort as we can provide. Her new vet gave her three months until she can no longer eat and must be put down. Everything else about her is healthy; if this had been correctly diagnosed from day one, our dog wouldn’t have three months to live. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! We are beyond heartbroken, especially knowing that if it had been caught before it progressed to her jaw that she might have been able to survive for years more. This location has not had a staff vet for over a year and they are not telling people. It has caused significant issues in record keeping, consistent care, and communication. They have made several mistakes in care for both my dog and cat, one of which involved letting a tumor grow in our rescue dog’s mouth for over a year while telling us it was gingival hyperplasia and would cause no serious harm (which they couldn’t have known, because no biopsy was ever performed, nor was it ever suggested to us even at our 8 month visit when it had just kept growing). My sense is that the banfield corporation is not handling this location well, leaving staff and employees in a bad situation. Choose elsewhere if you want quality care for your pets.
