Terrible experience picking up a bag of purina dog food. Got home and poured it into our plastic bin for the dogs and their were cobwebs throughout all the kibble from weevils or moths or some pest. Had to drive back and return all the stale dogfood just to get a bag without a discount or store credit. I even had to go get the new bag off the shelf, the employee wouldn’t do it. Highly recommend avoiding this store especially since the cashier ignored me while helping people who walked up to the register after me. Id buy from olsens or local pet stores, corporate petco in Prescott has gone to sh*t.

Visited store to purchase Scottish Highland Cow Halloween headpiece for my dog. Couldn't find it and then asked the cashier. She was great, found it, and applied aome of my point rewards.

The store was clean and the team members are very helpful. I made mistake ordering dog food and they helped me exchange things easily. Because there wasn't an even swap available, they assisted me with finding comparable things and answered my many questions to find things I was comfortable giving our dog. It also helps that there are no markups on instacart (just in case we're sick and can't get there in person). Will ABSOLUTELY continue to support.

Worst experience ever getting my dog vaccinated at Petco in Prescott. I came last year and the vet did such a great job and it was such a positive experience so I decided to do it again. This year the Vet, Melissa Guzman, who was giving the shots, did not do a very good job. She had a very poor attitude, said some very sarcastic remarks to me, she couldn't get my dog's vein had to try several times, ask me if my dog was getting enough water, I responded with, my dog gets anywhere between 6 to 10 cups of water a day. It was not a good experience for me or my dog. The prices are not any less expensive than the vet!! I'll be taking my boy to the Vet moving forward. I would never take him here again. Very unprofessional and poor customer service for the vetco vaccination clinic!!!
