    I was disappointed this time. My dog didn’t smell clean and her nails were not trimmed very well either. Been going here for a while but probably not anymore.

    After 11 years of being a loyal customer, Petco refused to groom my dog because of his age. They fired their best groomer, Marisa. I will never be taking any of my pets to this Petco going forward. I will be looking for Marisa online since she was always the best. This Petco has a staffing problem, very unprofessional. How disappointing!

    The cost increases every time I take my dog in for a grooming. Employees go & come to often, which indicates to me they are unhappy. The additional "material fee" charge is outrageous. Oddly when i dropped my dog off no other customers or dogs in sight same thing when I picked up my dog. The fill in manager was rude & a little to bossy for me. I felt very uncomfortable on my last visit to petco & will be looking for a new dog groomer after 8 or more years. So sorry Petco, this store has a employee problem.

    Groomers quit. No phone call to cancel. I arranged my day around a grooming appointment and not even a courtesy call to cancel, just a sign on the door saying no groomers available. As a matter of fact, I got an appointment reminder text that morning. (2/22) Yet they require substantial notice if you need to cancel appointment. I found this to be incredibly unprofessional to do to a client. I left my phone number and asked for a manager to call me…..which never happened.

    I'm super sad Marissa left. She was the only reason I went to Petco Grooming in Ahwatukee. This last time I took my doodle in, they simply shaved her. Marissa always made an effort to make my dog look so beautiful with a stylish cut, and now they just shave her. Nothing against the current "stylists," but Marissa was a rare talent and she always exceeded my expectations. We miss her tremendously. Any prior clients of hers have her cell number? I lost her number and wish I could contact her....
