I scheduled this 4 days out due to unavailability. My usual petco is in avondale and to my luck the Dr there took the whole week off. The soonest availability is this location on happy valley. 45 minutes away from my home. Gps takes me to Walmart and then kept turning me back around all over the plaza until I finally called petco to let them know I was lost. They gave me directions and I arrived. My appointment was at 11. I walked in at 11:12. When I walk in no one is there to acknowledge my arrival until 11:18 Amanda walks out. I let her know I called and was lost and due to being lost I was late. she told me she would be right back. She comes back out to tell me the Dr stated they have a busy day and can't see me. Mind you I was only 12 minutes late. I was lost! I called! My dog has a rash and Im sure this would have been and in and out appointment. I have been here since 11:12am and it is 11:39 and I have yet seen another animal walk in there. I let them know I traveled 45 minutes and got lost and I was still rejected. Never again will I come to this location. This.place had crappy people working here. Amanda and whichever Dr working that day. Mind you mainly Amanda since she wasn't at her desk When she should have been and greeted me when I arrived rather than greeting me six minutes later , making it seem like I was later than I was. 11:12 vs 11:18 is huge.

Very helpful staff. Offered to get a cart for me and instead carried my large bag of cat food up to the register and checked out my purchase, immediately.

Placed an online order, waited several hours and it was never ready. Went into the store and pulled the item myself then had to wait at the register for several minutes to tell someone I was taking the item I purchased already.

when I came in the door that I had an issue, she recognized me from the day before and was so helpful with an exchange and then offered some ideas for treats and food that I found very helpful and actually ended up buying two or three more items than I had planned on, but because she was so helpful and knowledgeable. I felt like spending more money was the right thing to do thank you Melissa.
