  Absolutely at a loss for words how they know my dog is on his death bed and tell me to get the wellness care because I can cancel it after putting him down just to turn around and be told I’m locked into a year contract days after. They pull on your heart strings while all saying the same script “oh I’m sorry for your loss” then in the same breath ask for money. I’m utter disgusted with this place

  This is the worst Banfield in town. They are completely unhelpful when it comes to follow ups, dealing with med refills will take hours, and they will tell you one thing on the phone and then you show up and they tell you that info was wrong. Take yourself to the Shea location.

  I brought in a sick kitten to this veterinary clinic back in May. He was not eating or drinking, and he had difficulty breathing. I dropped him off, and when I returned, the veterinarian told me he was going to die because I was neglectful in bottle-feeding him, and he had asphyxiated. Keep in mind...the kitten was not bottle-fed. He was old enough to eat wet food, and he hadn't been in my care that long. They also tried charging me 60 bucks just to put a red light on the kitten to check for ringworm...I could buy a red light for five bucks and do it myself. Long story short, they wanted me to euthanize the kitten for 180 dollars!! I went home crying with the kitten, and the next day I took him to a different vet, where they prescribed him some medicine to treat the ringworm and medicine to help with the mucus in his airway. They also gave me an appetite stimulant for his lack of appetite. This veterinarian told me the kitten was nowhere near dying and he would improve with medication. The kitten is now thriving in his new home, and I attached some pictures below! (: I will never visit this clinic again. And I would highly recommend seeking a different opinion if you ever visit Banfield Pet Hospital.

  Brought my mother's dog, Itty-Bitty, in for a 10:15 AM drop-off appointment for vaccine updates and a nail trim/dremel. No one came to the front desk to check her in for about 10 minutes. When I called around noon for an update, I was told they were understaffed and the earliest she'd be ready was 1:30 PM — then 10 minutes later I got a call saying she was already ready. The inconsistency didn't inspire confidence. Paid $228.85 for the visit, but the account statement shows nothing beyond the billing total — no itemized breakdown, no exam notes, no summary of what was actually done. The only thing I received was a rabies certificate. I have no way to confirm the nail trim and dremel I paid for were even completed. They already have their money, but getting an actual response has been another story. I've reached out through Banfield Cares and gotten nothing but automated acknowledgments — first promising a reply in two business days, then quietly extended to three-to-five, with no substance in between. If you want documentation of what was actually done for your pet, don't count on getting it easily. Given the lack of transparency and unresponsiveness, this was my first and last visit to Banfield.

  Read the postings, that will save me time writing mine, yet I'll say so discouraged on the plan, the service, lack of dr.s only see a clerk, phone service is broken. My pet saw doctor once , she went on maternity leave with no replacement. Cancelled conract , never renewed, they still bill my credit card. This is a nite mare and has put my pet in jeopardy of medical care.
