- CCCustomerJun 2, 20261.0Sad to say it was a terrible experience. Was lured in by the front office with inaccurate pricing. It was only a set monthly price for a pet plan. That was explained, NOT the one time membership fee. That was sprung on me at the desk. When I had asked specific questions on if there was any further fees. Lots of miss information, regarding my pet needing an allergy shot with vaccines. The vet on staff wasn’t the normal vet. It was mentioned that there was issues with my dog not calming. So an exam could not be done? Yet, they were still willing to do the vaccines if I wanted them? How can you do a vaccine yet not an exam? You still have to be hands on… I offered to have the exam done in my arms instead of them taking her into the back room (which was for employees only) I was told no. The vet on staff did not come in to speak with me personally. He or she Stayed in the back the whole time. Yet, I was sitting in an exam room with a table? I kept speaking with the assistant instead. This ended with the manager (who was amazing) refunding an office visit the staff charged me for. Even though the exam wasn’t done. She was the best part of my experience there. Also, the PetSmart manger. Great ladies. However, I will not be returning.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
