  I love the Banfield pet plan(s) they offer. It covers so much! I just left my appointment that i scheduled myself via the app & didn’t have any out of pocket costs. Zero! I got exactly what i went for as well. Some meds. That ofc was not free but still, no vet fees to be seen. The vet & staff are great too!

  Congrats to this Banfield office for providing me with the worst customer service experience of my entire life. I was left waiting in the exam room FOR 3 HOURS. The assistant was extremely cold and rude. The vet on staff today (who said they don't normally work there) left me questioning her competency after she did not grasp the basics of the terminal disease my cat has. I now cannot trust the recommendations she provided, so my time and money were completely wasted. I will go out of my way to avoid this vet by any means possible on the future, but that may be hard as they move thier vets around to locations on a whim apparently. Maybe it is best to just avoid Banfield all together.

  I rarely leave reviews like this, but my experience at this Banfield location on August 14 was unacceptable. My concerns involve not only Dr. Stephanie Szabo, but also the staff’s communication, conduct, billing, and recordkeeping. I brought my dog in to have a cyst evaluated and schedule a dental cleaning. His ear was red, inflamed, and producing red discharge, so I also requested an ear cleaning and anal gland expression. I was later told he might have an ear infection and that I needed to pay for an additional test. I agreed and paid. At pickup, I was not given medication or told anything about his ear. When I asked, staff told me he was fine and assured me that the test showed he did not have an infection. I trusted that information. I also discovered at home that my dog’s backside was covered in feces, which I assumed was from the anal gland expression. On August 17, I took him to a different Banfield location. They found that I had paid for the ear test, but there were no results or notes showing it had been performed. His chart also indicated that the anal gland expression had not been done. I called the original location for clarification and was then told the ear test had never been performed because they had determined he did not have an infection. Meanwhile, I was standing at the second Banfield, where they actually performed the test and confirmed that he did have an ear infection. I was charged for a diagnostic test, told its results were negative, and later told the test was never performed. The conflicting information about the anal gland expression further undermined my confidence in the accuracy of my dog’s medical record. I was told I would receive a refund, but as of August 24, I still had not received it. This experience destroyed my confidence in this location. I cannot recommend it and will not be returning. If something doesn’t seem right, get a second opinion—I am extremely glad I did. I have a recording of my follow-up call with the hospital documenting this conversation

  The entire staff was wonderful and compassionate when treating our dog. The veterinarian was empathetic and compassionate when she had to relay the news that our dog needed more for her condition, which ended up being terminal. We will be continuing to use Banfield Pet hospital for the rest of our furbabies.
