I had to say goodbye to best friend today. The amount of passion the staff and doctor showed me and my family was amazing. I originally was going to take my dog to his VET in Mesa but was afraid he wouldn’t make it. They scheduled me in same day and even took me in earlier. They did not lie about pricing or anything. I will be bringing my other animals here for services verses driving to Mesa.

If I could give zero stars I would!! This place literally almost killed my dog! I have a husky that I brought in that was having issues breathing, fatigue, lost of appetite just completely not herself. When I went in there the vet told us that it could be like 5 different things. So they tried to push almost 2k worth of different x-rays, diagnostic test and other fees in our face. She said out of like 3 other things it possibly could be pnamonia or an infection so us being like most people who can't just pay $2k. We said ok let's get the antibiotics that they offered and see how she does. We took her home she still wasn't eating so we tried giving her her medication. Since she wasn't eating... Which the vet knew. She threw up the antibiotic pill. She was getting worse by night. We called the vet at Petco the next day and told them her symptoms were getting worse all they cared about still was all of these xrays and test trying to make some money. Then they even had the audacity to try and guilt trip us like we should've gotten all the xrays and test done and they weren't even trying to work with us at all and that we have to wait until Monday to even get the blood work and test done. So we said no this can't be right.. Just a gut feeling. Like at the end of the day you know your dog and my poor baby was suffering and they were just trying to rack up the bill with unnecessary test and as the vet put it "May or May not" even tell us what's going on. So 2k worth of test and xrays and I still "may" not even get a diagnosis. So we called a veterinarian hospital and took her to casa Grande animal hospital right after we got off the phone with petco. We took her in and when I say this place cares about your dog and is sympathetic to the customers and not just trying to sale you... I mean it! This vet came in and literally in 5 minutes just from lightly examining her he instantly told us what it could be.. Not 2 different things, not 5 other things like petco... 1! He did an ultrasound and in 5 minutes he told us our poor baby had pyometra and needed an emergency surgery right away. So they took her in right away did the surgery, her surgery, medication, post op treatment all together cost almost half the price of all the test that the vet at Petco was trying to get us to buy to may or may not even get a diagnosis and the y2k Petco gave us didn't even include fixing the issue IF they were able to diagnose her. So after her surgery they gave us so much stuff to make sure she was taken care of and comfortable at home and set up multiple appointments for follow ups to make sure she's good and to get her stitches removed... Appointments were included in so no extra visit charge like Petco does. We asked what would've happened if we waited until Monday like the vet at Petco told us to do. They said she couldve became septic and her uterus could've ruptured and possibly death if that were too happen. So all in all you know your pets, you love your pets. Be careful with places like this who have no sympathy or care and just try to make money and up sale you and not diagnose them and truly help them. Our husky is home and instantly after the surgery noticed a difference. She has some recovering to do but she's already improving thanks to Casa Grande Animal Hospital!
