  This location has the nicest staff that are always helpful. I tend to go close to closing time and I never feel like I'm being rushed. They are always kind and ready to help with whatever it might be. Which, I appreciate. Thank you too the staff at Behrend & 59th Ave in Glendale - you all are appreciated!

  The store was in very poor condition during my visit. There was dog waste at the main entrance that remained there for over 30 minutes while we shopped, without being cleaned up. Many of the fish tanks were dirty, with excessive algae, and several fish appeared sick or dying. Some fish were swimming erratically, which suggested they may not have been properly cared for. The store also felt disorganized, with items left unstocked in the middle of the floor. We didn’t see any staff available to assist or check in with customers. In the small animal section, some mice were fighting, possibly due to a lack of food or proper care. Overall, the condition of the store and the apparent lack of animal care was concerning. I hope management addresses these issues to improve both the environment and the wellbeing of the animals.
