Great service! The staff was sincerely interested in my questions, and in the health of my dog.

Only today I was disappointed. I came in. I do not get a good morning or anything. The young lady just gave me a paper and show me what room to go into. I feel that when a client comes in, they should be greeted with a good morning. Good afternoon, or good evening. At least that much

Fine everybody’s nice. I have no problem with the level of service except that I went to my cats class clipped and they charged me full price and they couldn’t complete the job. I thought they should’ve discounted it. That’s my only opinion.

The optimum wellness plan is well-worth the monthly charge since it covers unlimited vet appointments, annual wellness checkup, vaccines & dental cleaning.

We’ve had a Banfield plan for a long time and have taken our dog to this hospital in the past. Over a week ago we took our dog for a comprehensive exam and dropped her off at 830a. We were told she would be ready to be picked up between 2-4pm. My husband called the hospital at 430p when we hadn’t heard any updates and was told to pick up our dog at 5p. My husband got there right at 5 and had to wait 30 min because another customer had a complaint that was being dealt with. He finally got to the receptionist and was told the doctor wanted to speak with him. After waiting more time the doctor came in and asked if our dog had been injured before we brought her in and my husband said no she was there for a routine exam. He was then told that something had happened and that Banfield would pay for our dogs recovery and plastic surgery if that’s what we wanted. After accusing my husband he then proceeded to accuse our dog for the incident that had happened. We were told that during the temperature check our dog had “freaked” out and smacked her face on something they didn’t know what. She had a huge gash right by her eye. I still don’t understand how this happened because in the past I’ve held my dogs head while the doctor/nurse checked my dogs temperature. It’s unclear if that’s what was done when they checked her temperature this last time. My husband was very concerned and wanted to get our dog home as soon as possible since it was 6p and she’d been with them from open to close. We couldn’t get a clear answer on when this had happened but clearly our dog had been sitting at the hospital injured and with strangers for many hours. Not additional care was given for her injury but medicine that was given to us. There was no reason for her to be there all day and the fact that we weren’t communicated with at all prior to arrival is so disappointing. I reached out to Banfield with this feedback and was told someone would contact us but never heard anything and it’s passed the window we were given. Also went to cancel the renewal of our plan and the chat bot told us it would expire in 1899.
