- DSD SmithMay 18, 20261.0The front desk associates are rude. Never give this company any personal information, they will refuse to delete it when you choose to terminate your business with them. Petsmart told me I was unable to use my vets prescription to buy food at their store, I was told to give banfeild my personal and pet information and they would give me another prescription to use to buy the food. Mind you banfeild has never examined or treated my animals, which I am amazed that legally they gave give a prescription for an animal they have never examined. I gave banfield my information and obtained a prescription card. I am highly unsatisfied with Petsmart and banfield so I requested my account and infroamtion be deleted. The girl at the desk lied and said she would delete my information and account. I asked to verify and she then said she cannot delete my information or account. I ansked for the corporate number to request deletion and she gave me the number to the wellness plan, which I am not a member of. I called and was hung up on by someone who barely spoke English. I called again and a responsible polite representative gave me that information on how to request my information and account be deleted. You must go online and find your privacy choices and submit a form. The girl at the desk had not knowledge of this and was rude. The staff should be better trained or should ask someone in management what the proper procedure is or at least provide the accurate phone number to call corporate instead of blowing a customer off with a phone number for something they are not enrolled in. Bottom line never give banfeild your information. There are many other more pleasant and competent vet options in the valley, go elsewhere.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
