They charged me 2x and the manager Harley could not help me and referred me to the corporate office or my bank so I had to contact the fraud department who got my money back. I have a small Caryn Terrier. We had to take our dog because we believe she became sick at Petsmart's Pethotel where she stayed a couple of weeks prior.

tldr: took stray to Banfield thinking she might be pregnant. Told she was 4-6 weeks pregnant. She was, in fact, not pregnant. At first, I thought it was a great experience. The techs were all really nice. I found a stray that I thought was pregnant. I wanted to get a better idea of how far along and what to expect. I also wanted to get bloodwork and possibly vaccines. When I was taken to an exam room, I was given a pamphlet on the subscription plan to look at while they took the kitty in the back to examine. The vet came back in and handed me some printouts on cat pregnancy to read. She didn't really go over anything. Honestly, it felt a bit like we were an inconvenience to her. She said the cat was 4-6 weeks pregnant and that they couldn't do an xray yet to determine how many kittens she was pregnant with. I'd need to come back in 2 weeks for an xray. With feline gestation being ~63 days, that would potentially be after the birth. I asked for FIV/FELV testing since I have other cats. She told me there was a chance for a false positive since the cat was pregnant or a false negative. Basically saying the test was useless because the cat was pregnant. She once again pushed the banfield plan to "save me some money". Once I mentioned that we have a family vet we use, she was done. As she was walking out of the room, I had to once again ask for the bloodwork explaining that I’d rather have the bloodwork now regardless of the potential for false results. I used Banfield, as the cat was a stray and I needed her seen sooner rather than later since I thought she was pregnant. My vet is busy so it would have taken a few weeks. All of this to say, the cat is indeed not pregnant. I took her to get spayed this week making the decision to abort since it would be easier on her and better for her healthwise. The vet I saw at a different clinic looked at me like I was crazy when I said the cat was 4-6 weeks pregnant. She felt her belly and said the kitty needed to poop but most likely wasn’t pregnant. When I picked her up, I was told she was in heat but definitely not pregnant. I feel like this is something a vet should be able to tell when examining a cat, especially if the cat is supposedly in the second trimester of the pregnancy. If something like this is incorrect, what other diagnoses are incorrect?

Refused to see my dog! I booked an appointment to have a checkup due to my dog eating a chicken bone last night and wanted to see dr and possibly get an xray if needed. The doctor refused to even do a wellness exam and told us to take him somewhere else even after getting told to take him to a banfield from our other location due to being booked. The nurse then told us to see if other locations could see him total bs! Don’t waste your time if you need any medical advice even the front desk lady was understanding but refused to help and tell them I needed to see my dr. She recommended an er facility that was 190$ just to get an exam which again I BOOKED
