Such kind and understanding staff. Explained everything clearly, including prices, and, most importantly, were kind to my sweet Stella. I was an emotional wreck when I brought her in and there was zero judgment. The reason I brought her in turned out not to be life threatening… but I do not regret it and I’m so glad we have this resource in Little Rock for dog (and cat) owners. We are waiting in the exam room to get her back after testing and medication administration. To say I’m relived is an understatement. To say I was treated with respect and compassion is exactly the truth. Highly recommend.

Horrible receptionist at 6:30 AM -- she was stuffing her face with food, stains all over her shirt, and blowing her nose into a brown paper towel. While blowing her nose she wiped her hands all over the paperwork she gave me to fill out. Then she began arguing with me when I asked for help with the dog I was holding in my arms. She replied "he is not an emergency" I don't appreciate the receptionist deciding if my dog needs help or not. Dr Coloumbus who treated him came into the room and instead of helping my dog she began attacking me. She informed to "apologize" to the receptionist without asking me my side of the story. I have Stage 5 Kidney disease and don't need her blowing her nose on my paperwork. Dr Coloumbus said to me "so...you don't like people who eat or blow their nose..." very condescending and VERY RUDE/DISRESPECTFUL while attacking me. They don't care how they treat people and I question if they don't care about the animals either after the way I was talked to.
My other dog had surgery here and I was charged $3,100. I never received a detailed bill for what I was charged for on 4/29/26. The girl at the front desk (different girl) told me Dr Field would be issuing me a Credit. As of 6/2/26 I still don't have my credit. That surgery needs revision and I was only told "it will be about the same cost as the other one".....I think for $3,000+ one should be given a written estimate. There are no XRAYS - everything is verbal. I have never had a problem with anyone at the Vet's office or the groomers. I have never had a problem with anyone at AR Vet Emergency - except for this receptionist. I was told the staff is always right and they could care less how the customer feels. I will be moving on to spend my $3,000+ somewhere where I am treated right, can get billing estimates and final billing statement after surgery. Good luck to the rest of you.
