I do not recommend this place based on my experience. I brought my cat here in early December 2025. When I arrived, I was told that the vet, Mark, was sick and someone else would be looking at my cat. I didn’t think anything of it because I trusted that she was still in the hands of professionals. A young woman who appeared to be an assistant or someone in training took my cat to the back. About 20 minutes later, she told me that the veterinarian had removed a few lumps from my cat and that they recommended leaving them alone. I was confused because I had never been asked for permission to remove the lumps, whether I wanted them tested, or even informed that they were going to be removed. My cat was also given a long-acting, non-reversible steroid injection without anyone explaining it to me beforehand or discussing potential side effects. I never met or spoke with the veterinarian who examined my cat. No one explained what I should watch for afterward like the side effects. My cat seemed groggy and unwell over the next few days and eventually stopped eating. When I brought her back, I was told she had an upper respiratory infection. I later took her to another veterinarian, who performed additional testing and found fluid around her lungs. I was told she did not have an upper respiratory infection. Sadly, my cat’s condition continued to deteriorate, and I ultimately had to make the heartbreaking decision to put her down. I understand that veterinary medicine can be complicated and that diagnoses can change. I am not claiming this clinic caused my cat’s decline. My concern is the lack of communication and informed consent throughout my experience. I should have been told what was being done to my cat, what medication she was receiving beforehand, the potential side effects, and what warning signs to look for. Losing my cat was devastating, and I deeply regret that I did not receive the communication and information I expected when I trusted this clinic with her care. Based on my experience, I would choose a different veterinarian.

My cat was seen here three times in 2026. At the last two visits, I never saw or spoke to a veterinarian. After his dental surgery under anesthesia, all communication happened through support staff. At the May visit, a receptionist — not a vet or licensed tech — told me at pickup that my cat had gum disease and stomatitis and had already been given two injections I was never asked to approve, totaling $71.50 charged to my account (for a total bill that visit of $324.23). No treatment plan was offered beyond "come back in two weeks if he's not better." No written diagnosis. No educational materials for a condition I had to go home and research in tears. I requested his complete records in writing on May 26 and followed up repeatedly. As of his appointment with a new vet on June 11 — more than two weeks later — neither I nor the new clinic had received the clinical notes, despite the clinic's written offer to forward records anywhere I chose. The new vet examined him, reached a different diagnosis with a good prognosis, and treated him with a $44 antibiotic. I am filing a complaint with the Arkansas Veterinary Medical Examining Board. Pet owners deserve to hear diagnoses from a veterinarian, to consent before treatment is given, and to receive their pet's records when they ask.

When we lived in Jonesboro, the team at Woodsprings Clinic took great care of our dog, Poppy. Poppy went through a spade procedure, and had to have surgery on her knee, which was a long process that involved several visits and checkups. Each time we had an appointment, Poppy was always excited to see the team at this clinic. I could feel the love and kindness the team showed Poppy each time we were there. Poppy’s knee has fully healed since then, and I can’t imagine a better experience than what we went through with each visit at Woodsprings Clinic! If you’re looking for a vet within the Jonesboro area, I highly recommend this place!!!
