- CHChrisma Hammes1 day ago1.0Unfortunately due to customer service, I won't be spending money at this store anymore in Benton. I called up there asking if they had a specific fish I was looking for. The lady who answered the phone immediately told me she couldn't help me, because she had a line of people in front of her and for me to call back. Not really the end of the world, A proper response could have been first an apology, explanation, and offer to hold the line to see if she could get someone else to help with what I was needing. Good customer service goes a long ways. I'm not sure why that has changed so much over the last few years. Understaffing and stress is part of customer service. It is how you handle the situation that makes the customer come back or not.

First time customer got the exam fee waived (have to sign up with Petco - it’s quick at checkout). There was nobody there besides staff (Sunday afternoon) and they took us right back to a room with a big window. $150-160 for rabies and bordetalla and a 6-In-1 vax which is good/comparable to most places. I didn’t like that they separated us (took my dog back to procedure room). I asked if I could be present and they said no. I understand it’s protocol but it doesn’t feel great having strangers take your baby and not be able to see what they are doing. Plenty of vets I’ve been to do everything with the owner present. Only drawback to the experience. Everything else was smooth/fine.
